Our History

Belle Fabrics is a 54 year old importer based in Haledon, New Jersey about 30 minutes from New York City. The only Principal is Jefferey Haber, a well-recognized leader and participant in the American home furnishings industry. Under Haber’s leadership, Belle imports home furnishing fabric for the furniture industry, wholesale distribution trade, pillow producers, RV industry, apparel manufacturers and the luggage industry. To serve these end use markets, Belle maintains a large inventory in its warehouse in Haledon.

Today, Belle continues to be a leading importer of better jacquard fabrics from the best mills in Italy and Belgium. Over the years, Belle has refined its list of suppliers to the point where it only imports from the finest jaquard weavers in the world. Belle is also a design leader and a design trendsetter. Belle buys original designs and artwork from independent designers in France, Italy and Belgium to insure that the products it distributes in the USA are original in every way. Belle owns the copyright on many of its designs and vigorously protects its design rights in America.

Belle is now in its third generation with Fred Haber. Fred handles internal day to day operations of the company while his father, Jeff, commutes on a regular basis to the European suppliers to insure a constant flow of excellent products to the US marketplace.
